2009 Junior World Championships

Katsu Dojo athlete Tyler Wolfe won a Bronze medal at the 2009 Junior World Championships in Rabat, Morocco on November 12th - 15th. Tyler won Bronze in the 16-17 year old female -48 kg sparring division on November 13th. National Champions from 82 countries came to Rabat to determine the best junior karate athletes in the world. Only three US athletes out of 21 medaled at the competition (1 silver and 2 bronze). Tyler defeated athletes from Canada, Turkey, Russia, and Hungary to win bronze.
