Katsu Dojo athlete Tyler Wolfe wins a gold medal in the -45kg, 14-15 year old female sparring division at the 2006 Junior Pan American Championships in Curacao on September 23rd. Tyler outscored her opponents 17-2 on her way to victory. Eighteen different countries in the Western Hemisphere brought their top two athletes in each division to determine the best karate athletes in our hemisphere. Team USA also took the Pan American cup with 10 gold medals at the games. This the first time Team USA has one the cup in the 17 year history of the tournament.
